A guaranteed investment to help you reach your short term savings goals. You'll earn a competitive rate and have the assurance that your deposits are protected up to $100,000 (unlimited for RRSPs, RRIFs & TFSA) through the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario.
- Minimum deposit $1,000.
- Lock in a great rate for terms of one to five years. Specific maturity dates are available upon request.
- Interest is paid at maturity for 1-year terms and annually for terms over one year. The interest may be paid to your account or compounded back into the term deposit.
- Non-redeemable prior to maturity.
- A certificate is issued.
- A renewal statement is sent to you quarterly detailing any maturing deposits.
- No service charges.
